Thought I might need to make a new post

Hmmm...I don't seem to have been on here in a long time! I think I decided my blog is kind of boring since I can't put pictures on here. Well, as all of you already know I'm still hangin' out at the house waiting on this foot to heal. I'll be really glad when it does, and then I'm going to escape and I may not come back for quite some time. I am sooooo ready to go somewhere!

Not much happening.

Well, there isn't much going on around here. I'm just waiting for them to finish my house. It's kind of coming together though now. I'm thinking we'll be able to move back downstairs in a week or two--maybe???? I saw my baby girl a couple of days ago. She's getting a fat little round face and a double chin. She's just precious! I love her so much. Our little Emma is doing better. She was still running a fever last night so they didn't send her to school, but Jason said she had not had one today. He's hoping she can go back tomorrow. I'm looking forward to Vicky and Michelle and Alex coming to see us! Alex and Anna Beth can have a play date!:-)LOL. I enjoyed visting with everyone last weekend and getting to see Little Man get dedicated. Alex and I enjoyed our nap together Sunday afternoon too. It's about time for Anna Beth and I to have one together too! Well, since I don't have much to write about, I guess I need to get busy in this house. There's a lot to get busy with. Love all of you, Brenda

Long time no be here!

Hello peoples,

Sorry I haven't posted anything for so long. I've been a little busy with my new grandbaby and remodeling and doctors visits, etc. etc. etc. My baby girl is so sweet. I can't wait for everyone to see her. Her Great-Grandaddy! and Aunt Laura haven't even seen her except at the hospital! It's about time for Aunt Vicky and Michelle and Alex came to see her. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you this weekend. I can't wait to play with little Alex. Anna Beth's age is special because she's so cuddly and all, but Alex's age is special because you can play with him.

I enjoyed my day with Laura yesterday. I saw on her blog she had told everybody about it. We had fun and had a LOT to eat! It was very good!

Well, I went back tot he doctor for my hand for the last time today. He dismissed me, but he made me an appointment with the foot specialist to see what's wrong with my right foot. I just dread doing anything that I have to walk because it hurts so bad. He had never let me show him exactly where the pain is. I showed him today and he said it could be bursittus. Anyway, maybe they'll do something for it.

I'm keeping Jason's kids tonight so he and Larry can go to a wild games supper. I'll be taking them to get something to eat and then taking them home to see that they get baths and get into bed.

I love all of you, and Ill be talking to you later, (and seeing most of you too!)

Sorry there'll be no pictures of Anna Beth

I'm sorry everybody, but I asked Jeanan to help me post some pictures on here of Anna Beth, and she told me that Greg won't let her post any pictures of the kids on anything that the public could see. He says that people can take the pictures and do bad things with them and he never wants to take that chance. I don't blame him at all, so I will be e-mailing pictures instead. Love all of you, Brenda

Horrendous invasion of places no one should go done!

Well, it's over thank goodness and I don't have to have that little procedure again for 10 whole years!! They didn't put me under very well, so I was feeling it the whole entire time. It's like horrible stomach cramps! It took them forever. It was supposed to 11:00 a.m. It was not! It was1:30 before we got out of there. I froze to death the whole time I was there. Larry kept his coat on and even he was still cold! It was a lot warmer in the room where they did it than it was in the room they left me in forever and ever. Larry got mad immediately when we got there because where you checked in in that department there was a window and a lady sitting right there a foot from it and they had a sign up there that said "put your papers on the counter and have a seat" (no please or anything) and she never even looked up when I laid the papers there. Larry always taught his employees to be courteous to the clients, so he really notices when people aren't. He was furious! I told him to just hush because I really didn't want him in that kind of mood. Well, he behaved until I came back in the room. He wasn't in there and when I asked the nurse where he was she said, "your husbands angry about something." I thought, oh great has something else happened? Well, he came back in a second and someone came in and said, "I heard you wanted to talk to me." They went out in the hall and I could hear him telling her about what happened when we came in. She told him she thought he was right. The thing is I don't think the girl was even busy. I think she was chatting with the nurses because I saw her talking to someone. When they were wheeling me out in the wheelchair I saw that there was a door out the back of her office and the nurses station was right there, and she was chatting with them then about eating ribs and green beans and mashed potatoes. I wanted to whack them one because all I'd had to eat since Wednesday night was some lemon sorbet and lemon jello!! I wanted to say, "would ya' stop talkin' about food, people!!!" I had trouble there when I had my mamogram because the girl that did it was very cold and treated me like a cow she was putting through the shute. I e-mailed them and told them about it and they e-mailed me back and apologized and then they made her call me and apologize also. I feel like doing it again, but then if I have to go back they might say, "here comes that trouble-making woman again" and not treat me well. I don't know what there problem is there. Now the nurses and all treated me fine, they were all very nice. Oh well, it's over anyway. Well, I'd better get started back on cleaning up. I did the upstairs before I came down, but now I've got to get started down here. I love all of you! Bye for now!
